Sustainability and Ethical practices are the backbone of Textiles that truly inspire and help the society. Motivated by the same, I worked on developing new woven designs for Raymond Ltd. I worked in Chanderi and Maheshwar clusters of Madhya Pradesh, India, with cotton and silk yarns for Men's Apparel.
My design inspiration came from natural dye pigments that provide an artisanal and minimalistic look. Yarns were used to create an organic, pure, soft yet rustic handle. I included micro-textures, Slub and irregular texture that revive raw, unprocessed aesthetics for formal and casual wear that revive sustainable ethos.
